Follow these simple steps to Take Action:
Make up your mind to take action on Climate Change:
- Learn as much as you can about climate change.
- Make a commitment to reduce your personal greenhouse gas emissions by %20.
- Start with some simple climate change actions that can help you meet your goal.
Use the Greenhouse Gas Calculator:
- Part one helps you to find out approximately how many tonnes of Greenhouse Gas emissions you produce in a year.
- Part two helps you select suitable actions for you to reduce your emissions.
Follow through with your commitment:
The amazing thing is that achieving a %20 reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is very easy and will in fact save you money. For example, replacing one of the most used light bulbs in your house with a compact florescent bulb can save you as much as $66 over the lifetime of the bulb.
