FBC on the Road

Falls Brook Centre has a variety of staff with global and environmental experience. We have developed a number of presentations and workshops covering a variety of topics that can be delivered to audiences of all ages. Drawing from the international experience of FBC staff and the local knowledge found in New Brunswick communities, workshop themes include (but are not limited to):

  • Renewable Energy & Climate Change
  • Fair Trade & Global Economic Justice
  • Child Rights & Education
  • Food Security & Kitchen Gardens
  • Community Forestry & Non-timber Forest Products

We will tailor the presentations to meet the needs of your audience and ensure age-appropriateness. PowerPoint presentations with pictures from the field will enable viewers to see first hand the international community development work that Falls Brook Centre is involved in. Presentations are engaging, and invite audiences to participate in the search for local solutions and ways to show solidarity with the international community. For visits within Carleton and Victoria Counties, we generally only need a mileage contribution to cover costs.
