Take the New Brunswick Sustainable School Challenge!
arrow Version française

Is your classroom
energy efficient?

How much trash do school lunches make?

How many litres of water are flushed down the toilet
everyday?

Can you find any
native species in your school yard?

What can you do for a healthier student body, school and
environment?

We are challenging schools to shift sustainability from textbooks into classrooms through a series of three 50 min workshops and other fun visits. Students begin by assessing their current school practices with environmental audit to evaluate biodiversity, waste, water or energy consumption. The audit serves as a springboard for sustainable action planning, linking local  efforts to global issues like climate change.

Greening Schools for a Greener Future sustainable schools manual
