Puppets for Eco-Education!

The education team at Falls Brook has developed a variety of puppet shows
for young and old audiences alike. Learn about the long-distance adventures of "Tommy the Traveling Tomato", or about the sudden disaster that strikes the Kingdom of Acirema when their fossil fuel supply runs out! Audiences are invited and encouraged to help the quirky characters sort out their predicaments through an entertaining and interactive script.

Why puppets?
Puppetry is an ancient communication tool that has been used in countless
societies for reasons as fundamental as promoting human rights awareness, educating youth in tolerance and peace-building, and building political consciousness. The use of puppets makes complex issues accessible to audiences of all ages, as well as encouraging 'out-of-the-box' thinking by
asking for creative solutions that will help our charismatic cast of
characters out of their various ecological conundrums.
