Our education team endeavours to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and
experiences to examine the state of our planet, our human communities across the globe and how we as individuals fit into a sustainable future. The desired outcome of our educational work is to have a network of healthy and resilient communities with informed and active citizens better equipped to adapt to changing external forces.

Current School Programming
Attention Teachers! Below are all of the fresh curriculum-linked classroom programs that our education team is offering live and in person this season. Click on each title below for more information.
- Operation: Restoration: For Grades 7 and 8 Social Studies and Science classrooms - an in-class workshop linking biological diversity with human activity and well-being
- Sustainable Schools Challenge: For Grades 6 to 8 students - 5 units promoting sustainable practices in the classroom and school for energy efficiency, biodiversity, water conservation and waste reduction.
- New Steps for Global Citizens: For Social Studies and Environmental Science classes in middle and high school. Building global citizenship through role play and dialogue-based learning.
- Food Miles Challenge: For Kindergarten to Grade 8: interactive activities to teach your students about the food they eat and where it comes from.
- One World Puppet Theatre: For Grades 4 to 8 Social studies and English classrooms - an interactive puppet workshop exploring renewable energies and environmental stewardship
- Operation: Webfoot: For Grade 4 classes: Visit Falls Brook Centre's site and learn about biodiversity and the importance of wetlands.
- The Climate Change Bus: An interactive climate change museum on wheels - invite Big Blue for a visit to your school today!

On-site learning
